We have been supporting Earth Week (19-25 April) and Earth Day across all four Colleges - and here at Merton, our Student Services Team ran a week of sustainability-themed activities for our students.
We held an Eco Fair, where students had the opportunity to meet inspiring organisations making a difference and get involved in seed planting, reusable water bottle crafting, designing a tote bag and creating an eco badge.
Activities throughout the week included recycled jewellery making, making natural lip balm and a student energy audit. The team has also launched a brand new Upcycling Furniture Club, which will run every Wednesday from 3-4pm.
